FU Shenglei Invited to Co-edit Special Issue of Soil Biology & Biochemistry
Recently, Prof. FU Shenglei, the Principal Investigator of Environmental Degradation and Ecological Restoration Research Field in South China Botanical Garden (SCBG), was invited to co-edit a China special issue for the prestigious SCI journal Soil Biology & Biochemistry by the editorial board of Soil Biology & Biochemistry. This special issue will be published in 2008 about the latest research progress of soil biology and biochemistry in China.
With the rapid development of China soil biology & biochemistry in recent years, Soil Biology & Biochemistry realizes that a China special issue will increase the awareness of the international scientific community in the development of soil biology and biochemistry in China and facilitate the international collaboration with soil scientists from China.
Soil Biology & Biochemistry has ranked the first in terms of impact factor in the field of Soil Science and Agriculture. The journal publishes original and scientifically challenging research articles and short communications that present new findings and their possible applications. Soil Biology & Biochemistry is published by the Elsevier Publisher.
Prof. Fu Shenglei is currently the leading scientist in the field of soil biology and biochemistry of SCBG. He received his Ph D at the Institute of Ecology, University of Georgia in 1999, and then worked on different campuses of University of California as a postdoctoral researcher from 2000 to 2004. He has been invited to serve Soil Biology & Biochemistry as a subject editor since 2006.
